So glad you’re here!
I want to thank everyone who helped with the first phase of this project by sending me the House blocks for the the fundraiser quilts! In total I received 501 blocks, and plenty of materials to make approximately 60-70 quilts! That is a staggering number for myself to make!
Thank you’s to Amy from acommonplacelife.com on the website, to some of our first sponsors to donate prizes for you all from Pink Chalk Fabrics, Purl Soho, and Cottage Garden Quilts, to fabulous people like Barbara Amorin, who sent me many completed tops and is also donating something I think many of you quilters will enjoy, Feed sacks!
Now I need your help.
So if you have a quilt top, that just doesn’t excite you anymore, finish it off, and send it on it’s way!
These quilts can be of any pattern, design, or colors.
We need all different sizes. from Wee baby blankets, to toddler, twin, queen, whatever you size you have.
Please keep 100% cotton.
They can be a homemade quilt you’ve had and it’s gently loved, but needs a new home.
Clean and embellishment free. (no choking hazards)
They do not need to be house block quilts, (from the last
There will be prizes, and raffles… so the more quilts we receive, the more prizes I can give away!
To start it off, the first 25 people who send in a completed quilt, will receive a $10 gift certificate to PINK CHALK FABRICS!
The plan is, as we start getting more and more quilts, and we reach numeric goals, such as 25, 50 , 75, 100,
we’ll add the names to the hat, for another raffle.
Prizes will be patterns, gift certificates, fabric, books, vintage fabrics, long arm services, and more!
Please feel free to email me images of your donated quilts that we can add to our photos page.
So go ahead.
Start sending those quilts.
I promise they are going to a good home.
